Overview

The Tark is the code name for a Free Software project targeted at the creation of a free (libre), visual Text Authoring and Management environment for

• HTML, SGML, and XML Editing/ Authoring,
• Web Site and Document Management, and
• Web Link Management

The Tark might basically become somewhat of a clone of Microsoft's FrontPage, SoftQuad's/ Corel's HoTMetaL/ XMetaL, or Adobe's GoLive!, crossed with concepts of Adobe's FrameMaker and LyX/ Klyx/ TeXMacs, Conglomerate, and several server-based CMS.
