This document gives an overview

Planned

The following steps are planned:

Start date			Description	Status
		2003	First Release (Download). First Release with working code.
		2003	Manual. First draft of the Manual, written in DocBook. Depends on progress in Conglomerate.
	Jan	2003	First code fragments (Download). First code fragments for the User Interface, based on Glade.
	Dec	2002	Documentation. Some User Documentation an how The Tark will be working (this is suuposed to complement Project Goals).
	Nov	2002	Screenshots. First Screenshots of the User Interface, based on Glade.

Completed or work in progress

The following steps are completed or work in progress:

Start date			Description	Status
29	Oct	2002	Evaluation. Extension of the section Evaluation, includes now some writeups on Amaya, Bluefish, Kate, Mozilla Composer, Quanta, Screem, and others.
27	Oct	2002	User Interface. Did some User Interface mockups using Glade. Depends on progress of Glade for Gnome 2.
25	Oct	2002	Translations (Website). Added several automatic translations to the website, including German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Norwegian, and others; the website should now be readable in 12 languages.
18	Oct	2002	Conglomerate (Evaluation). Some work on the XML editor Conglomerate; got in contact with the maintainers (Joakim Ziegler and Dave Malcolm) to check if we can interface somehow.
19	Sep	2002	Free Software. On the relationship between GNU/Linux and the Free Software Community, based on a paper by Francois Déchelle, Günter Geiger, and Dave Phillips.
09	Sep	2002	Evaluation. Some research on Free Software-based solutions for HTML editing/ authoring, Site Management, Link Management, and Content Management.
31	Aug	2002	Project webpage created: Project »Tark«.
31	Aug	2002	Project Start: A FLOSS FrontPage Clone for Linux. Planning: Brainstorming - Naming (code name »Tark«), Licensing, Project Goal.
