The Tark Projetct Status

Overview

The project is currently in the planning stage and has been started recently.

There are lots of design issues and evaluation processes to be cleared (in no special order):

• Name of the project;
• Evaluating the idea:
  Is anybody interested? Has somebody already had our idea?
• Licensing (most definitely a free license, most probably GNU GPL, BSD License or The Artistic License);
• Version numbering (most probably Linux kernel version numbering);
• Documentation (plain vanilla text, HTML/XML or Docbook DTD);
• Platform (Gnome/KDE, Qt/Gtk etc.);
• Programming Language (C/ C++/ Kylinx etc.)
• Feature set.

We will publish further information somewhere in November 2002.
