Regierungsinitiative

In Pakistan denkt man seit Juli 2002, besonders aufgrund der weit verbreiteten Software-Piraterie und der hohen Kosten proprietärer Software über Linux-Lösungen nach.

Die von der Regierung eingerichtete "Technology Resource Mobilization Unit" soll nun Professionelle zusammenbringen, um Meinungen auszutauschen, Aktivitäten zu koordinieren und das Thema Linux zu fokussieren.
