Übersicht
Im August 2002 stellte Heroine Virtual (heroinewarrior.com)
die GPL- Videobearbeitungssoftware Cinelerra 1.0 für Linux vor.
Cinelerra richtet sich vor allem an professionelle Nutzer, die komplette
Filme bearbeiten wollen und weniger an Heimanwender, denen vor allem an
einem einfachen Interface gelegen ist.
Cinelerra 1.0 unterstützt YUV Compositing und Echtzeit-Effekte. Die
16 Bit YUV Compositing Engine von Cinelerra wurde dabei auf die Nutzung
von mehreren CPUs optimiert. Als Eingabegeräte werden IEEE1394,
Video4Linux, Motion JPEG und Screenshots unterstützt.
