Aus der Selbstdarstellung:
»Platero is a KDE Grafic User Interface to manage the
multiple p2p network client mldonkey. Platero features a nice KDE
integration ( konqueror elinks clicks, tray icon, unified look and
feel ... ). It work using the GUI port not the telnet one, so avoid
some freezes and data lag existing when the telnet port its used.
Actually its developed under GNU/Linux but should work on other UN*X
flavors, any kind of usage report its welcome« (Quelle:

Features
Platero have some features that put a difference with the rest :
- Desktop integration, so the program runs with the same
preferences than the rest of the desktop, systray icon, elinks, and
eserverlinks konqueror clicks support, etc.
- Open source, the whole source code its open sourced and GPL and
programed in c++, so take it and contribute if you want.
- And whatever improvement you want, just ask for it or send us a
patch (actually we prefer the second one).
