Aus der Selbstdarstellung:
»Bookcase is a KDE application which attempts to keep track
of your personal collection of books. Ultimately, I'd like it to be
similar in capability to AVCataloger or Readerware, although it's
still got a ways to go.
I started developing it when I couldn't find a personal
database program for KDE which didn't using a SQL backend. The data
is saved in XML format, which makes for easy parsing. It follows a
DTD, which is documented for the most part« (Quelle:
