Übersicht

Digital Dreamgirls (DDGirls) ist ein Projekt des US-amerikanischen Fotografen J. Stephen Hicks (JSH).

J. Stephen wuchs in Colorado auf, studierte Kunst im kalifornischen Santa Barbara und sammelte seine erte Erfahrungen als Glamour- und Aktfotograf für den Playboy; künstlerisch beeinflusst wurde er vor allem von Philip Dixon. Er ist mittlerweile seit über zwei Jahrzehnten tätig als Fotograf; Ende der 1990er Jahre startete er schließlich seine erste Website im Internet, leavesite.gif (19x8 -- 131 bytes) Digital Dreamgirls – weitere folgten bald. Heute arbeitet er überwiegend für seiene eigenen Websites, Digital Dreamgirls, DDG Lounge (seit 2004), DDG Zine und Hicksphotos.
